Some exciting news. First off probably everyone still reading this blog already knows, but Malia and I got engaged last month. Second, I got an NSF yesterday, so we'll be moving to NYC where I'll be at Columbia. As Malia said, "Now you're all grown up! A month ago you were just a grad student, now you're engaged and employed."

When do you think you'll be coming out here? I've got an apartment that should be free on July 1 or so...

Congrats! General google sleuthing on Yale & homeschool applicants brought up Noah Snyder's name. Yes, we are one of those literal Bible 6k year old earth folks and worse off we live in Alabama (yes, proud of that as well)..just curious as to your hindsight on homeschooling and any insight on a homeschooled student chasing after Ivy league schools...son is involved in NCFCA speech and debate and loves it...he's only in 7th/8th right now but we're talking future...just curious on any outtakes you have on the subject and want to wish you well in your marriage...and wondering if you would homeschool your children! :) We wouldn't change a thing at this point...
Blessings
